Government University
Government Colleges: It includes colleges such as AIIMS, Central Universities & others established by the Indian or state government. What is government universities? Government Universities in India are those universities which are acknowledge and/or funded by Government of India and the state governments. Government Universities in India are acknowledge by an Act of Parliament or local legislative assembly act.
Deemed Central University
A deemed university is an authorization permitted to higher educational institutions in india by the department of higher Education under the MoE. These universites as defined in the UGC act of 1956. It is Fully autonomy or independent in deciding courses, syllabus and fee also it provides State-of-the-art infrastructure and advanced facilities.also the degree of Deemed University is reputable and valid as it is recog. by the govt.
Private University
These Universities are competent to award degrees as specified by UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act with the approval of the statutory councils, wherever required through their main campus. Wherever the approval of the statutory council is not a pre-requisite to start a programme, the Universities are required to maintain the minimum standards regarding academic and physical infrastructure as laid down by the concerned statutory council.
